Lucknow, May 13 -- A 32-year-old woman working as a manager of a premium salon in the city was found dead inside her posh highrise apartment in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar Extension area, on Tuesday. Police had to break open the door of her eighth floor flat after repeated attempts to contact her failed. Not too long earlier, the woman had uploaded a video of on her social media, crying and alleging mental harassment by the employer and her colleagues citing it as the reason for her "suicide". Police said that she also informed a friend over the phone before taking the extreme step. The friend then alerted the police. In the video making rounds on social media, she named five people, said to be salon owners and colleagues, including Sharad Singh, Pallavi Joshi, Vaishali, Mangal Yadav and Prashant Sharma. "Sharad Singh is the salon owner, while the rest of them are colleagues.
