Lucknow, March 11 -- Defence minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will visit his parliamentary constituency on March 12 and inaugurate the city's proposed Green Corridor on March 13 at 4.30pm besides participating in several public and official programmes. According to Anand Dwivedi, president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahanagar unit, Singh will arrive at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on March 12 at around 8pm. After arriving in the city, he will attend a family wedding ceremony and stay overnight at his residence on Kalidas Marg. On March 13, the Defence Minister will attend the inauguration programme of the Golf City branch of City Montessori School. During the visit, Singh will also meet local leaders and pay visits to their residences in Rajajipuram and Rajendra Nagar. Later in the day, at around 4:30 pm, Singh will join chief minister Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate the city's Green Corridor at Samatamulak Chauraha. The leaders will also review the corridor stretch from Samatamulak Chauraha to Daliganj Bridge and felicitate employees associated with the project. Following the inauguration, the Defence Minister is scheduled to address a public gathering at Jhulelal Vatika in Hasanganj at around 5pm.
