Thereafter, monsoon activity is likely to remain confined to extreme parts of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, for Saturday, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert signifying a high probability of heavy to very heavy rainfall in 13 districts: Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, and surrounding areas.
