LUCKNOW, Feb. 21 -- A group of private hospital security guards allegedly assaulted a lawyer and his two friends over a parking dispute in Lucknow's Thakurganj area on Thursday night. The attack left the lawyer injured, and sparked outrage after CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media platforms. The incident occurred when advocate Adarsh Singh, a resident of New Haiderganj, visited the hospital to see his mother, who is undergoing treatment, along with his friends Shubham Yadav and Pradeep Yadav in an SUV vehicle and parked the vehicle near the main gate. Hospital security guards objected to the parking, leading to a heated argument between the two. Within minutes, the verbal spat escalated into violence. According to the complaint Adarsh Singh, the guards gathered at the spot armed with sticks and iron rods and began beating the trio. The accused chased the three men when they tried to flee. CCTV footage shows guards running after them and assaulting them repeatedly. The victims fell to the ground, but the guards continued the attack.
