LUCKNOW, Oct. 1 -- Police suspect a property-related dispute may have led to the murder of a government school principal and his wife in Sultanpur's Kadipur area, with eight people detained for questioning. No arrests had been made till the filing of the report. The couple, Mukesh Singh (45), a government teacher and block-level teachers' association president, and his wife Vinita Singh (43), who ran a private school, were found dead on the school premises in Kumhi Dadiya village on Tuesday morning. Their post-mortem examinations revealed a total of 22 injuries, many of them deep cuts to the head, face and neck. Mukesh suffered 10 injuries, including multiple deep wounds to his head and neck.
