LUCKNOW, Nov. 1 -- Seth Anandram Jaipuria group of schools organised the third edition of its annual inter-school sports championship, Athletica 2026, at Guru Gobind Singh Sports College on Saturday. Former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar attended the event as the chief guest. Taarun Chawlla, senior vice-president, Partner Schools, Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, was also present. Kumar appreciated the Jaipuria Group's initiative to promote sports among students. More than 700 students from 20 schools in the Jaipuria network participated in various sporting events. In the overall championship, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, won the boys' trophy, while Kanpur Cantt emerged as the overall champion in the girls' category. Among the special trophies, Kanpur Cantt won the Trailblazer Trophy for Under-12 champions in both boys' and girls' categories. Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, won the Under-14 boys' title, while Kanpur Cantt claimed the Under-14 girls' title. The Titans Trophy for Under-17 champions went to Kanpur Cantt in the boys' category. In the girls' category, Kanpur Cantt and Vasundhara jointly shared the title. In chess, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, won the Under-12 title. Unnao won the Best Jersey Award.htc...
