Lucknow, June 27 -- In a late-night crackdown, the Lucknow police, along with teams from Malihabad, Mal, and Rahimabad stations, conducted a late-night raid and seized a large cache of illegal cartridges from a house in Malihabad, officials said. The house, owned by one Salauddin alias Lala, was found to be storing a substantial quantity of illegal ammunition. The police also recovered a laptop, believed to contain crucial information about the suspects' network, they said. Senior officials rushed to the spot and evacuated nearby houses as a precautionary measure. Sixteen empty bags were brought by the police, indicating extensive documentation and evidence collection during the operation. The cartridges and the laptop have been sent for forensic analysis.
