PNB opens branch at Kashi Vishwanath temple
VARANAS, May 1 -- As part of its branch expansion drive, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has opened a new branch within the premises of the Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The bank's managing director and CEO, Ashok Chandra, visited the Varanasi zone on Thursday to inaugurate the branch, according to a PNB press release. This is the 63rd branch in Varanasi and the 365th in the Varanasi zone. During his visit, Chandra also inaugurated the Saraswati Gate (Gate number 2) of the KV temple. The gate was built by the bank under its CSR initiatives, and he also handed over an eight-seater golf cart to the temple for the convenience of pilgrims....
