LUCKNOW, Oct. 31 -- Lucknow University has announced its BOOST Awards for the academic session 2023-24, recognising outstanding contributions in teaching and research under its BOOST (Building opportunities for outstanding scholarship and teaching) initiative. Over 100 faculty members and research scholars have been selected for the honours across three categories -- Uddeepan, Protsahan, and Acclaim. Vice-chancellor prof Manuka Khanna said the initiative was aimed at elevating teaching, research, and innovation to new heights. "BOOST Awards are not just honours; they are meant to encourage academic excellence among our faculty and scholars. The BOOST scheme will further strengthen the academic culture of the university and open new avenues of research for young scholars," she said. Fifty senior faculty members have been selected for the Uddeepan Awards. In the research scholar category, 60 individuals have been honoured for presenting high-quality work in science, education, and social studies. Uddeepan Award recipients get Rs.1,100 and a certificate of recognition.
