Haldwani, Oct. 9 -- The Nainital district administration has intensified its action against encroachments and disputed claims over Nazul land, serving notices to five prominent establishments located along the banks of Naini Lake and directing them to submit documents establishing their ownership, lease or other legal rights over the properties. According to Nainital sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Nawazish Khalique, notices have been served on St Joseph's Boat House, Govardhan Hall, Quality Garments, Boat House Club and Sitapur Eye Hospital. The establishments have been given one week to submit records related to the land and buildings they occupy and use.
