NHMC celebrates with convocation of 23 grads
LUCKNOW, April 11 -- A celebration coupled with a convocation ceremony was organised on Friday to mark World Homeopathy Day (April 10) at the National Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital (NHMC) in Gomti Nagar, drawing participation from over 1,000 attendees, including dignitaries, faculty members, practitioners and students. A key highlight was the convocation ceremony for 23 postgraduate students of the 2022 batch. Degrees were conferred amid applause.
Principal Dr Vijay Kumar Pushkar highlighted the institution's legacy, academic achievements and research initiatives, while outlining future plans for strengthening homeopathic education and healthcare delivery in the state, stated in a press release shared with the media.
During the scientific session, experts discussed the principles and applications of homeopathy. Dr SN Singh elaborated on key concepts such as individualisation and the law of minimum dose, citing successful treatments of complex diseases. Ashwini Singh Patel said that homeopathy gradually builds patient trust and offers lasting relief. Dr BN Singh praised the college's contribution, noting its growing stature at both the state and national levels, it stated.
Providing historical context, DK Sonkar said the institution has maintained a long-standing tradition of excellence and produced practitioners serving in India and abroad, describing it as one of Asia's leading homeopathic institutions, it stated further. htc...
