JAMMU, Sept. 23 -- A new framework is being worked out under Article 371 to provide constitutional safeguards suited to the specific requirements of Ladakh, chief secretary of the Union Territory Ashish Kundra said on Tuesday. This comes amid the Union home ministry tentatively fixing another meeting with Leh Apex Body (LAB) and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) over the governance model and constitutional safeguards in the UT.
