India, April 5 -- Singer Mark Lee is officially leaving the popular K-pop band NCT and SM Entertainment after nearly a decade, the agency announced on April 3. His contract ends April 8, following "careful and thoughtful discussion with Mark" about his future. Debuting in 2016, Mark was part of NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and SuperM. SM said he will end all group activities, with units continuing in revised lineups. "Moving forward, NCT 127 will continue as a seven-member group consisting of Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan. NCT Dream will continue as a six-member group consisting of Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung," the company clarified. Soon after the announcement, Mark addressed fans directly through a handwritten note shared on Instagram in both Korean and English. He continuied,"I will never forget the pieces of love and truth each and every Czennie gave me." Following the post, several NCT members showed their support in the comments section.
