Lucknow, Sept. 21 -- A musical evening was organised in Lucknow on Sunday to mark the 163rd foundation day of the Kali Bari Temple Trust at Ghasiyari Mandi. Renowned actress Rituparna Sengupta, playback singer Vinod Rathod and singer Chandni Mukherjee enthralled the audience with their musical renditions. The evening began on a devotional note with Kali Stotra. Popular Rabindra Sangeet Aakash Bhara Surjo Tara left the audience spellbound. Bengali folk songs Kalo Jole Kuchla Tole and Sundori Kamala had the audience dancing. Memories of yesteryear actor late Uttam Kumar were revived as artists performed songs filmed on him. Playback singer Vinod Kumar Rathod and singer Chandni Mukherjee also had the audience singing along to their performances. There was no empty seat at Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj Prekshagriha, UP Sangeet Natak Academy, where the programme was held.
