LUCKNOW, July 28 -- A 16-year-old boy who had been missing from Lucknow for nearly 10 months was traced to a roadside dhaba in Haryana's Yamunanagar district and reunited with his family under Operation Muskaan, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Lucknow Police said on Monday. According to police, the teenager had been reported missing after he left his home in September 2025. A case was initially registered at Talkatora police station under the BNS before the investigation was transferred to the AHTU. "During the investigation, police found that the boy had been working as a delivery executive before leaving home following a dispute with his manager over salary. Without informing his family, he travelled to Yamunanagar, concealed his identity and started working at a dhaba," said Kiran Yadav, ADCP Crime. The ADCP said the breakthrough came after months of sustained efforts involving local intelligence, and technical leads. Acting on information, the AHTU coordinated with the Haryana police and located the teenager at a dhaba in Yamunanagar. htc...
