VARANASI, Sept. 26 -- A seven-year-old boy, who went missing at 5pm on Wednesday, was found murdered in the vicinity of his house in Pathani Tola area, under the Sidhari police station area of Azamgarh district, on Thursday, police said. The boy was identified as Saheb Alam, a student of Class 2. His body was found stuffed in a gunny bag, hanging from the gate of a house in his neighbourhood. After the matter came to light on Thursday, a large number of people gathered and staged a demonstration alleging delay in action by police. They alleged that police didn't take action despite being informed that the boy went missing on Wednesday evening. Police pacified them and said that an FIR was registered immediately after the information was received. A police officer said that on Wednesday evening, information was received that a 7-year-old boy, Saheb Alam, had been missing since around 5 PM. A search operation for the missing child was launched. This morning, the family reported receiving a ransom demand. Shortly thereafter, the child's body was found at a neighbour's house, said the officer, adding that the body has been taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem examination....
