AGRA, Feb. 8 -- The Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA), Mathura, has revoked the suspension of Jaan Mohammad, a government primary school principal in Naujheel town of that district suspended earlier for allegedly attempting to convert students to Islam and preventing the recitation of the national anthem at the school, after he got a clean chit in an inquiry. Jaan Mohammad was suspended on January 31 on a complaint of Durgesh Pradhan, a local Bharatiya Janata Party functionary, and was attached to a primary school in Mant development block. "The two member committee constituted to probe the matter has given a clean chit to the principal. In light of said report, the suspension of principal Jaan Mohammad has been revoked with immediate effect and he has resumed his duty," said Ratan Kirti, BSA, Mathura, on Saturday.
