LUCKNOW, Oct. 3 -- Lucknow Metro commuters using existing GoSmart cards will get an additional week to switch to the new National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). The deadline for free replacement has been extended from October 2 to October 9. The extension will give passengers who have not yet replaced their GoSmart cards more time to do so. The replacement will remain free until October 9. UPMRC managing director Sushil Kumar said the NCMC is a common mobility card that can be used across participating public transport systems and other compatible services. It offers commuters greater convenience through a single payment instrument.
