JHANSI, May 10 -- The Jhansi chapter of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), an RSS-affiliated organisation engaged in promoting entrepreneurs and industries, celebrated its foundation day in Jhansi on Friday. The event highlighted the spirit of entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on encouraging women entrepreneurs to succeed in their ventures. The event also featured discussions on the organisation's technological advancement and honoured distinguished citizens who have made significant contributions to the economic and social development of Jhansi. Speaking about the LEAP portal-a national B2B digital ecosystem developed by LUB to empower Indian MSMEs-provide direct market access and facilitate business networking, senior member Vivek Jain said that the dedicated web platform for members of Laghu Udyog Bharati functions as a digital marketplace for showcasing local products and providing verified information about entrepreneurs associated with it. He added that the portal also enables networking with other organisations, helping businesses gain greater momentum and growth opportunities. The chief guest, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Ramteerth Singhal, said that industries and entrepreneurs are the backbone of the country's economic growth. He lauded the efforts of Laghu Udyog Bharati for its continuous work in promoting young entrepreneurs and MSMEs. Reiterating the ethos of Laghu Udyog Bharati, district president Rajive Bubber said the organisation remains committed to uplifting all kinds of business enterprises in the district and strengthening the region's economic growth. On the occasion, the organisation felicitated women entrepreneurs as well as eminent personalities from various fields, including doctors, chartered accountants and former Army officials, for their contributions to society.
