LUCKNOW, Feb. 28 -- Lucknow University registrar Bhavana Mishra filed a first information report (FIR) against unknown students and outsiders in the Lal Baradari protest case on Thursday. In a letter to SHO Hasanganj, she wrote, "Due to the apprehension of any incident, a request was made to arrange proper police presence during the fencing work being carried out near Lal Baradari located on the University's main campus. On February 22, during the fencing work around the Lal Baradari, some students, including some outside miscreants, caused vandalism and chaos. Subsequently, it also came to light that some students and outsiders offered namaz and had iftar at a public place near the Lal Baradari."
