LUCKNOW, March 19 -- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) sealed the Electricity Service Commission office in Gomti Nagar over pending property tax dues of Rs 11.16 lakh. With only 13 days remaining in 2025-26, the civic body has launched strict enforcement across zones, targeting major defaulters, including government-linked establishments. As it races to meet targets before the financial year ends, LMC teams have begun sealing properties of those failing to clear dues despite repeated notices. On Wednesday, the Zone-4 team led by zonal officer Shilpa Kumari carried out the action in Vibhav Khand.
