Lko expands e-bus services to Engg College
LUCKNOW, April 18 -- To ease passenger travel during the summer rush, the electric bus service from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Amausi has been expanded from Thursday, with plans to boost both the number of buses and trip frequency.
Launched just 15 days ago with two pairs of AC electric buses, the service is now being expanded. One pair running from the airport to Nishatganj via Charbagh will be extended up to Engineering College. Additionally, buses on the airport-Awadh Bus Station route via Transport Nagar, Utrathia, Ahimamau and Ekana Stadium will be increased from two to four, along with more frequent trips.
The decision was taken during a meeting attended by Lucknow city transport managing director Amarnath Sahay and Dubagga e-bus depot ARM DK Garg, where both route expansion and an increase in the number of buses were okayed. htc...
