LUCKNOW, Feb. 15 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) accelerated land acquisition for its ambitious Naimish Nagar housing scheme in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) after registration of over 1.27 lakh square metres of land of 100 farmers was done in a single day. Authorities opened the sub-registrar office on Saturday, despite it being a holiday, to execute the sale deeds. LDA officials distributed Rs 38 crore to the farmers through demand drafts. Sangeeta Raghav, in-charge officer, Naimish Nagar scheme, said the authority continues to receive consent letters from farmers along with the execution of registries. She confirmed that LDA has identified nearly 4,035 acres of land across 18 villages under BKT tehsil for the project. htc...
