LUCKNOW, Sept. 30 -- King George's Medical University (KGMU) has warned nursing students participating in an ongoing sit-in protest of impending disciplinary action, including adverse entries in character records, reduced examination eligibility and monetary penalties. In a letter dated September 28, 2026, addressed to parents and guardians, the university stated that students had engaged in campus demonstrations following the death of a 2025-batch nursing student.
