LUCKNOW, May 17 -- The department of gynaecological oncology at King George Medical University (KGMU) has achieved a major milestone in advanced women's healthcare by successfully performing its first robotic surgery on a 25-year-old patient with a large ovarian tumour. The unmarried woman, who had a 10x10 cm tumour, underwent the complex procedure at the Shatabdi SSI Mantra OT.
