LUCKNOW, March 2 -- Kanha Upvan Gaushala, operated by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) in the Naderganj-Amausi area of the state capital, has secured Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification. It is the first large-scale municipal gaushala in UP to receive this recognition after earlier being awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification, said additional municipal commissioner Arvind Kumar Rao. Officials said an expert team granted the certification following a detailed inspection of management systems, record-keeping practices, infrastructure and overall animal care standards.
