VARANASI, Jan. 3 -- Around 200 women will be recruited as bus conductors in the Varanasi region of the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) through a regional employment job fair scheduled to be held in Varanasi on January 9. Regional manager Parshuram Pandey said that a job fair has been scheduled in Varanasi for the direct recruitment of female candidates to the post of contractual conductor. The fair will be held at the Regional Manager's office at Chaudhary Charan Singh Bus Station, Cantt, Varanasi, from 11 am to 5 pm on January 9. He said that interested female candidates can attend the job fair at the specified time with all the necessary documents. The educational qualification for the female contractual conductor post is Intermediate (Class 12) pass along with a CCC certificate. Candidates must also have participated in at least one of the following: UP National Rural Livelihoods Mission, UP Skill Development Mission, NCC, NSS, or Scout Guide.
