PRAYAGRAJ, May 30 -- The Indian Institute of Information Technology-Allahabad (IIIT-A) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TeamLease EdTech Ltd to launch its proposed online Executive MTech programme in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Officials said the MoU was signed by Mandar Subhash Karyakarte, registrar of IIIT-Allahabad, on behalf of the institute on Friday. The collaboration marks a significant step toward expanding access to advanced postgraduate education for working professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Data Science. As industries increasingly integrate AI-driven technologies across sectors such as automation, analytics, decision-making, customer experience, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services, the demand for flexible and industry-oriented learning opportunities is rapidly growing. According to Prof Mukul Sharad Sutaone, director of IIIT-A, the proposed Executive MTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science will be a two-year online programme aimed at equipping learners with strong theoretical foundations as well as practical skills in AI, ML, and data science tools and techniques. "The curriculum will focus on real-world applications and problem-solving across diverse industry domains," he said. The programme is designed for professionals and graduates holding bachelor's degrees in engineering, technology, or related disciplines.
