Hry demands cbi probe in ex-top cop's son's death
Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- The Haryana government has urged the Centre to recommend a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the alleged murder of the son of former Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa and former Congress minister Razia Sultana, people familiar with the matter said.
The couple was booked on charges of murder in connection with the death of their 35-year-old son Aqil Akhtar, who was found dead at his Panchkula house October 16. Also booked in the case are Akhtar's wife and sister. According to the officials, given the sensitivity of the case, the Haryana government decided that the investigations in the case be handed over to the federal agency. P8...
