Lucknow, March 13 -- GD Goenka Public School celebrated Holi with great enthusiasm and excitement. The celebration aimed to help children understand the cultural significance of the festival and the importance of celebrating it in a safe and eco-friendly manner. The celebration began with a Holi act where teachers narrated the story of Holika Dahan and Prahlad, explaining the message of truth, faith and the victory of good over evil. The assembly became even more vibrant when teachers performed a lively dance on a cheerful Holi song, spreading festive energy and joy all around. A festive set-up was arranged in the OAP area of school, where children participated in Phoolon ki Holi. They played with flower petals, sharing smiles and laughter with their friends, making the celebration colourful, joyful and safe. The class-wise activities were the highlight of the day. The event was conducted to make the learning experience creative and meaningful for the students. The tiny-tots of Pre-Primary Wing participated in Phoolon ki Holi and made a pichkari craft, while the students of Class Nursery created colourful Holi splash goggles using paints and also made masks for them. LKG students made engaged in crafts with bright colours. 3D pichkaris were made using paper and decorative materials by the students of UKG.
