Fresh raids at houses of 3 accused; probe team seeks details from Rai
Ayodhya, July 2 -- The Ayodhya police on Wednesday carried out fresh raids at the residences of three accused-Avinash Shukla, Luvkush Mishra and Karunesh Pandey-as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple.
A police team comprising 25-30 personnel conducted simultaneous raids around 2pm.
Police recovered a donation box labelled "Ramrajya Kosh" and bearing a QR code, from a yoga centre in Ayodhya where the accused Avinash Shukla had been residing for the past 10 years, a person familiar with the matter said. A probe team also reached Karsevakpuram to seek details from Champat Rai, who has resigned as general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, about the staff deployed for management of the Ram temple and counting of cash.htc...
