Kanpur, June 13 -- Four men were killed on Friday afternoon when their speeding car crashed into a stationary truck on the Ganga expressway in Unnao district, police said. While two died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries during treatment. The collision occurred around 4 pm near kilometre 387.6 under the Aseewan police station area. Witnesses told police the Tata Punch car was travelling at over 100 kilometres per hour when it hit the truck from behind. The truck had been parked on the roadside due to a mechanical failure. The deceased have been identified as Uday Singh, 26, and Anupam Gupta, 32, both residents of Jafarpur in Phoolpur, Prayagraj; and Vijay, 25, and Aman, 28, residents of Babuganj town in Phoolpur.
