Ayodhya, June 19 -- Mahant Dharam Das, former litigant in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title dispute case, has made serious allegations against office bearers of the Ram temple trust. He said the Supreme Court and the district judge (as the representative of the apex court) should have investigated the matter. Mahant Dharam Das is the successor of Mahant Ram Abhiram Das, the key person who placed idols inside the Babri Masjid in 1949. "The chief minister has sent the SIT. Only after the SIT investigation report arrives will a decision be made on the next steps," he said. "We will make a complaint to the chief minister about the working method of the people of the Ram temple trust. We will request that a complaint be made against the office bearer of the Ram temple trust by deploying police," he added. Meanwhile, UP Congress president Ajay Rai, who visited the Ram temple on Thursday, alleged that huge sums of money were collected from crores of devotees across the country during the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement by exploiting the religious sentiments of the public, and now serious questions are being raised.
