VARANASI, Sept. 4 -- Amid the rising flood threat, Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal and District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar inspected flood-affected areas, travelling by motorboat from Namo Ghat to Purana Pul in Sarnath to assess rising water levels and the situation on the ground. They inspected flood-affected areas, including the confluence of the Ganga and Varuna at Adi Keshav Ghat, as well as Salarpur, Saraiya, Konia, Pul Kohna, Dhelvaria and Sarai Mohana. The DM directed officials to ensure that affected families receive all necessary facilities on priority and face no inconvenience.
