PRAYAGRAJ, May 13 -- The special MP-MLA court of Prayagraj on Tuesday convicted former MLA Vijay Mishra and three others in a 46-year-old murder case. The court will pronounce the quantum of sentence on Wednesday. MP-MLA court judge Yogesh Kumar (third) convicted Vijay Mishra along with Jeet Narayan, Santram and Balram in the case related to the murder of one Prakash Narayan Pandey, 35, in the court premises on February 11, 1980. Pandey, a University student, had gone to the district court to seek bail in a case filed against him. He had a feud with Santram and Balram. It is alleged that Santram, Balram, Vijay Mishra and Jeet Narayan shot and killed him inside the district court.
