Every scheme should focus on patients' welfare: Pathak
LUCKNOW, Oct. 4 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, who also holds the health portfolio, on Friday took stock of the health and family welfare schemes in the state.
"Ensure medical staff remain on duty at all health facilities and maintain adequate stock of medicine for proper care," Pathak directed officials in a review meeting.
"Every scheme of the department should focus on welfare of patients and be implemented on priority to benefit people," Pathak said. He directed senior officials to go out in the field and assess the situation to improve the facilities. He also directed officials to monitor the schemes.
