Lucknow, March 24 -- Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday launched the state's Mahila Shakti Kendras, envisaged as grassroots hubs for women's safety, dignity and economic empowerment. Rolled out under the State Rural Livelihood Mission, 100 block-level centres will be set up in the first phase on Mission Shakti lines. Maurya unveiled the logo, dashboard and booklet in Lucknow.
