LUCKNOW, May 15 -- Authorities in the districts concerned have been asked to speed up the land acquisition process for four new link expressways in the state - the Jewar Link Expressway, the Agra Lucknow-Poorvanchal Link Expressway, the Jhansi Link Expressway and the Farukhabad Link Expressway. Only 491 hectares out of the required 3,678 hectares have been acquired for these projects. "The district magistrates of the concerned districts have been asked to speed up the process for land acquisition," said Manoj Singh, chief executive officer of the State Transformation Commission following a review meeting. For the Jewar Link Expressway, connecting Noida International Airport in Jewar to the Ganga Expressway, 837 hectares has to be acquired. Till now, 205 hectares of land has been acquired....
