LUCKNOW, Aug. 20 -- The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad high court granted bail to four persons arrested in connection with the alleged international fake call centre busted at Summit Building in Vibhuti Khand. The case, dubbed as "Mini Jamtara" by police, had made headlines after the cyber cell and cyber police station raided the commercial hub and detained 119 people. The single-judge bench of Justice Rajiv Bharti granted bail to Amandeep Kaur, Jovita D'Silva, Sanika and Vijeta Gurnani, said advocate Ishan Baghel, who represented the four persons in court. The HC is yet to upload the order on its website. According to cops, the raid was conducted on an alleged international fraudulent call centre operating out of the building. Those arrested included employees from the N-E and eight other states who, according to their counsel, had come to Lucknow for jobs. Advocates Ishan Baghel and Sagar Singh, who have been representing the accused in the HC, argued the arrests were made without proper grounds and evidence. The defence also cited a circular issued by UP DGP, which mandates that the reason for arrest must be communicated to arrested person and to their kin, and must be ensured in case diary."No compliance of the DGP's circular was made in this case," Baghel submitted.HTC...
