AGRA, Nov. 5 -- A woman member of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Firozabad died in a road accident on Wednesday. The 40-year-old was driving her car when it collided with another vehicle on the six-lane bypass within the limits of Makhanpur police station in Firozabad. Suman Chaturvedi (40), who resided in Agra, was driving to her office on Wednesday when the accident occurred, ASP Jaibind Gupta, who reached the spot after receiving information, said. "The accident occurred at around 10.15 am when the car driven by the deceased collided with another car. The woman officer died on the spot. Legal formalities are being completed," he said. It is learnt that the driver of the other car was overtaking Suman Chaturvedi's vehicle recklessly and fled the scene after the accident. htc...
