LUCKNOW, Feb. 8 -- The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has declared the final result for direct recruitment to Computer Operator Grade-A posts (Recruitment-2023), completing the selection process for 930 posts, according to an official press release issued by the Board. Senior UPPRPB officials said the final result has been published on the Board's official website uppbpb.gov.in. As per the press note, a total of 930 candidates from unreserved, EWS, OBC, SC and ST categories have been selected. The category-wise details indicate that 218 candidates from the general category, 468 against 249 OBC posts, 234 against 193 SC posts and 10 candidates against 16 ST posts have been declared successful. Out of the total selected candidates, 142 are women. UPPRPB officials clarified that in accordance with the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Public Services (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) (Amendment) Act and Rules, 2007, six vacancies earmarked for the ST category were filled by candidates from the SC category due to non-availability of suitable ST candidates. The Board further said 1,01,396 candidates had applied for the recruitment between January 7 and February 2, 2024. The final answer key was released on December 10, 2025, followed by the declaration of the written examination result.
