Committed to progress in remote areas: uttarakhand cm
Dehradun, Oct. 29 -- Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday reaffirmed the state government's commitment towards ensuring inclusive development and strengthening the lives of residents in remote and frontier regions, during a visit to Munsiyari in Pithoragarh.
After a ceremonial welcome, Dhami interacted with a gathering of local residents, expressing gratitude for their affection and support. "The state government's endeavour is to ensure that the light of development reaches every citizen, especially those in border areas," he said.
"We are committed to providing basic facilities and promoting holistic growth in these regions," he added.
Dhami later visited the 14th Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Munsiyari, where he was accorded another guard of honour. Dhami said, "Your sacrifice, discipline, and commitment ensure the nation's safety." htc...
