LUCKNOW, July 8 -- The Lucknow Traffic Police has announced relaxation in the movement of small commercial vehicles on Shaheed Path. As per the revised orders, these vehicles will now be permitted to ply on Shaheed Path between 11am and 5pm. The decision was taken following consultations with traffic officials and in consideration of public convenience and smooth transportation in the capital. However, the existing restrictions will remain in effect during the rest of the day before 11am and after 5pm.Officials said the revised timings are part of a broader strategy to manage congestion without hampering essential transport. "We have considered the suggestions from field officers and factored in the volume of traffic during peak and off-peak hours," said a senior traffic police official.
