Lucknow, May 3 -- Colvin Taluqdars' College on Saturday felicitated its meritorious students who excelled in the ICSE and ISC Examinations. Five students from various streams secured top honors, scoring over 95% in the board exams. The toppers are Amolika Singh Verma (97.5%, Class XII Arts), Yug Dwivedi (97.25%, Class XII Science), Nabiha Fatima Alvi (96.25%, Class XII Arts), Shwetang Parashar (95.75%, Class XII Science) and Hasan Umair Kidwai (96.3%, Class X Commerce). The institution also celebrated subject excellence, with several students securing 100/100 marks in individual subjects. Sachidanand Singh, principal (ISC wing), applauded the students. Anupama Singh, principal (UP Board), was also present on the occasion. The ceremony recognised teaching excellence, with Usha Shukla being honored as the Best Teacher for her dedication. Dr Shantanu Pande, a senior cardio surgeon at SGPGI and an alumnus of the college, was also presented with a shawl and memento for successfully carrying out a heart transplant.
