Silchar, Sept. 28 -- A 35-year-old grade-4 employee of the Cachar District Commissioner's office in Assam has been arrested for allegedly raping a colleague, police said on Saturday. According to police, the incident took place on September 24 when the woman staffer accepted a lift from the accused while going home. "The woman said that the accused offered her a ride from the office late in the evening. Upon reaching her residence, he insisted on entering the house. When she refused, he allegedly barged into the house and raped her," Cachar SSP Numal Mahatta said. He said the accused was identified as Saumitra Nath, and was arrested from his house in Silchar....
