LUCKNOW, Oct. 29 -- A brother-sister duo was allegedly assaulted by a group of 8-10 people at their flat in the Madiaon area of Lucknow. The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter, which also involves counter-allegations of misbehaviour by the duo toward the apartment's guard and other residents. Additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP), North, Amol Murkut, said the incident took place at Kutir Apartment in Eldeco City on IIM Road on October 23. According to the brother and sister, the attackers including the apartment president beat them and even used a mosquito racket during the assault. The victims claimed that the apartment president had been harassing the sister, demanding a personal relationship, and created a parking dispute that escalated into physical violence when she refused. htc...
