VARANASI, June 10 -- The BJP's Kashi region unit will organise a series of programmes on Wednesday to mark 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre and 12 years of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. BJP state president and Union minister of state for finance Pankaj Chaudhary will attend a Deepotsav at Kashi Vishwanath Dham at 6 pm. He will offer prayers and take part in the Maha Aarti. Kashi region BJP president Dilip Patel said the Modi government had strengthened welfare schemes, infrastructure, social security, self-reliance, digital services, women's empowerment and support for farmers and youth over the past 12 years.
