BHU VC reviews services at health camp for women
VARANASI, Feb. 7 -- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) vice-chancellor Prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi reviewed services and interacted with the students during his visit to the health camp organised at Mahila Mahavidyalaya, BHU.
The VC discussed various aspects of the health camp, including the X-ray facilities. He was further briefed on the available facilities, such as height, weight, and blood pressure measurement using automatic machines. Prof Chaturvedi described this initiative as an excellent example of institutional collaboration and community-oriented healthcare, highlighting BHU's commitment to women's health, preventive medicine, and social responsibility. He also discussed the infrastructural facilities of the MMV building.
The health camp was organised for the screening of girl students and covered various health investigations, including complete blood count (CBC), renal function test (RFT), liver function test (LFT), thyroid profile and other blood investigations, along with chest X-ray.
