VARANASI, May 28 -- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) signed an MoU with Northern State Medical University (NSMU), Russia, on Tuesday to promote academic, scientific and cultural cooperation. The agreement was signed by BHU registrar prof Arun Kumar Singh and NSMU Acting Rector Bylova NA in the presence of vice-vhancellor prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi and senior officials. The MoU aims to promote student and faculty exchanges, joint research and academic mobility. Prof Chaturvedi said internship opportunities for students would also be explored. NSMU dean Ms Natalia Anikina said the university has nearly 1,500 Indian students. Prof Rajesh Kumar Singh said both institutions held detailed discussions before finalising the agreement.htc...
