LUCKNOW, Sept. 11 -- The BJP on Thursday asked its social media wing to become narrative setters and not followers ahead of 2027 assembly polls. A state workshop of BJP's social media department was held at party headquarters in Lucknow to chalk out strategy for effective presence on digital platforms, wider publicity of central and state welfare schemes and fact-based counter to opposition's negative narrative. State BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary, state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh, national convener of social media Deepak Mhaske, national co-convener Shivanand Dwivedi and state convener Himanshu Raj Pandit attended the workshop along with regional and district conveners.
